Fog lifting....

Woke up this morning to total fog. Took this mid morning from our deck when it was just lifting....and there were blue patches in sky and water!
The dock was thick with frost so we 4 took a walk around the island in the sunshine...but then H and I also couldn't resist a row on the calm water in the afternoon after the ice on the dock melted. Double exercise. Making up for some indoor time the last week...but this is the NW --you take advantage of the good weather when you have it.
Friends C (Islandcat) and P came over for tea and a catchup chat. And then we celebrated New Year's once again with a traditional New year's Eve dinner here with R and D. (Lots of traditional herring! )
Still tired....time to get in bed.....
