Not a lot accomplished today other than a good row and some drawings... it’s world photography day today but I didn’t have anything great from the day. (More seals and herons)....Late this afternoon we heard a big helicopter ( not our neighbor’s) land on the beach at the end of the bay... it was BC ambulance. It turns out in vain as a neighbor on the very opposite end of the island (they see the sunrise). had a heart attack and died in spite of CPR by 2 visitors. It took 1 1/2 hours for the paramedics to arrive. Sobering. But not something we all haven’t thought about....it’s a risk we’re willing to take. Many of us are “originals” who were the first to buy property on this little island almost 30 years ago, So everyone is 30 years older. . This couple made it their only home which is beautiful. So, with heavy heart, I had to blip some beauty....RIP To him.
