Waves and Oysters
Windy today. Liked how these waves were breaking over a low tide shore. You can see oysters.... more than ever this year...which confuses me as with the slightly warmer sea temps and lower pH, (more CO2 in the ocean tying up Ca) the oysters are not making their calcium rich shells, supposedly. But we have more than ever. ???... One of the many mysteries...
Went over to the nearest island for drinks...Very lovely people with a great place... the extra is the little round island in front of us where the pigeon guillemots nest, from their slightly different, very lovely view. They see whales that I miss, so will text when they see anything, IF they are here. 2nd extra is the light on our wharf when we came back and the welcoming committee of one.
Haven’t seen any prawns..yet.......
