Himalayan balsam

This is in flower up and down the lanes now, and my bees are coming into the hive covered in its white pollen.
It does provide a late nectar source which is useful, but the large coarse plants smother smaller and more delicate native flowers.
On balance I would like to see it eradicated but there’s no chance of that I fear.
