A Sunday Stroll
After last night's drive home, it was good to get out this morning for a walk and we went a slightly different route than normal and walked up the hill to see this memorial. We pass it all the time when we're driving, but don't ever walk that way - it was worth it for the view, but also interesting to see that the memorial was to celebrate 50 years of the end of the war.
When we got home, I went to Asda to do a food shop and both mums came with me, then this afternoon we went to the Black Horse in Rottingdean for a Sunday roast. Home for a soak in the hot tub (me, not the mums), and then a relaxing evening. It's so nice that our mums get on and can come and stay with us together - tomorrow they're off to Eastbourne while we're at work ;-)
