Newid y tymhorau ~ The change of the seasons

Mae'n teimlo fel mae'r tymhorau wedi newid yn gyflym eleni.  Roedd fel petai len o law oer wedi cwympo’n sydyn ar draws yr haf.  O dro i dro rydyn ni'n gweld ysbeidiau heulog, ond mwy a mwy mae'r tywydd oer yn symud ymlaen.


Aethon ni allan heddiw rhwng y cawodydd i fynd i Lidl ac yn mynd am dro ar y Daith Taf. Rydw i'n arfer rhedeg i fyny'r Daith Taf, felly roedd e'n neis i weld e ar gyflymder cerdded.  Mae Nor'dzin yn tynnu ffotograffau o'r blodau gwyllt nawr fel prosiect ac roedd diddordeb gyda ni  i stopio ac yn edrych ar  y blodau yn y gwrychoedd. Mae'r mes yn wyrdd nawr ac rydw i'n siŵr yn fuan byddan nhw'n troi i frown. Oni bai ein bod ni'n cael haf Indiaidd, mae'r hydref wedi dechrau yn gynnar.

It feels like the seasons have changed quickly this year. It seemed as if a curtain of cold rain had fallen suddenly over the summer. From time to time we see sunny spells, but more and more the cold weather advances.

We went out today between the showers to go to Lidl and take a walk on the Taff Trail. I'm used to running up the Taff Trail, so it was nice to see it at walking speed. Nor'dzin is now photographing the wildflowers as a project and we were interested to stop and look at the flowers in the hedgerows. The acorns are green now and I'm sure soon they will turn brown. Unless we have an Indian summer, autumn has started early.
