Bookshop

Today we took Alice for coffee and cake. Coffee and cake is a favourite of the boys and they like to travel anywhere with Alice. This is one of two shots I might have chosen, but its where I put her down while I browsed the Conan Doyle books. The boys were very impressed that he came from Edinburgh having watched the last Sherlock Holmes movie earlier in the day.

I'm not sure what Alice made of it all, but she seems to like places with people and bright lights where she can watch what is going on. I think she is still trying to work out how the world works, but hey, isn't that the same for all of us?
