Every Days A School Day

No early start today but no lie in either but felt the effects of ten hours on the road yesterday, five either side of a five hour Arboretum visit.
Instead with Clare and Sam not working and Josh not volunteering at the rugby club we had a day out at Porthcurno.
Clare and I have long wanted to visit the Telegraph Museum and it proved to be an interesting museum. I never realised that still today Britain’s communications network still relies on sub sea cables, almost all of which terminate in Cornwall.
We enjoyed a great picnic in front of the museum and then headed off to the beach.
It was fascinating to watch Samantha paint an A5 watercolour of the headland, such talent.

And today’s photo, the ‘stumpy’ telegraph poles are so that Cable & Wireless trainees could work on staff induced faults during their training without requiring ladders.
