Time for a nap!

A popular family attraction in our area is Lake Farmpark. It is one of our local Metroparks, but it is also a regular working farm not too far outside the Cleveland metropolitan area where suburban parents and schools can take their children to see how animals and crops are raised. I read an article in this morning's newspaper about the large number of newborn sheep at the Farmpark, so right after lunch I put my camera bag in the car and headed out.

I think I need a new lens for my camera that works better in low light because the babies were housed in a barn with very low light, and I had to bump up my ISO and still be satisfied with less-than-wonderful pictures. I'm thinking about the inexpensive Nikon 50 mm lens and would appreciate comments from anyone who has one.

Look here to see why the pig (hog?) in the picture is so exhausted. A few other pictures from today can be seen here. I'll be returning to the Farmpark for more pictures after I get a new lens, but hopefully the weather will be a little warmer than today's 20 degrees.
