no longer such an excitement since I stopped teaching A-level stuff. I wonder how this year's cohort would cope with an East Anglian university's entrance papers of 1906. I particularly like Q1 of what I think became the General Paper. Some real maths in the extra. This would have been the sort of thing enjoyed by those who worked in Room 40 a few years later.
