Moot has come to see me twice today.  Which is lovely because it means he's still active.  And in this case thirsty.  I made it slightly easier for him to drink by putting the bowl of water on a book*.

If you are ever here I will of course offer you a drink.  But not in a bowl on a book on the floor.

Unless you ask specifically for that.  In which case I shall probably wonder how you got in...

*In this case Brewer's Dictionary Of Phrase & Fable.  A reference book I can't recommend highly enough.  It's more a Tome Of Wonder than a reference book.
