It's hard to describe just how beautiful Dresden is ...... and must have been ..... before being reduced to rubble. It has been rebuilt as it was with one of the latest jewels, Frauenkirche, pictured, being one of the latest re-constructions. It took 4 days of bombing to reduce it to nothing but a pile of broken bits and it stayed that way until recently, when, through a huge effort & international gifts it has become what it was, but more, and with a deeper story.
