A Swallow by a Swallow

It was not pancakes and sausage,
it was not scrambled eggs with toast.
It was dragonflies and other bugs,
while waiting patiently on a post.

It was not oatmeal with raisins,
it was not a waffle on a plate.
It was dragonflies and other bugs,
while waiting patiently on a gate.

The breakfast was forcefully served,
by Mama Bird and her fellow (Dad.)
It was dragonflies and other bugs,
fed to open mouths waiting on yellow.

According to my camera data, I had the feeding scene all to myself for 44 minutes. Needless to say...I took MANY pictures (not saying the number...embarrassing), and thoroughly enjoyed the encounter.
