Cock-a-doodle-doo!

We are so lucky with farm shops near us, although we live in the middle of the West Riding of Yorkshire.
This photo was taken at Goodall's Farm, Tong. They make the most wonderful icecream.
I called there today because I wanted a special icecream to go with a pear,mincemeat and almond tart I have made for dessert, for tomorrow night's dinner.
(Sister and brother-in-law coming!)
After tasing a couple I decided on a Whisky Icecream!
Absolutely yuuuuuuummy!
I bought a large tub so that there would be plenty left for another day!

They have an Icecream Parlour, and cafe, and also animals for the children to watch.
The cockerals were making a real din! Two trying to compete with one another to see who could crow the loudest!

A very fine bird. Don't know what kind of breed.

The weather has been very mild today, but dull and dreary.
We had a good time nextdoor , last night. Staggered home about 1am! Slept in till 9.30am today!

Should be back to normal next week!
