I've got sunshine!

Set off after lunch to take down my pictures from the Photo Club exhibition at Waterstones - as soon as I left home it began to rain! 

On the way back, eyes open for a Blip, I drove along the seafront and suddenly the sun came out and lit up the war memorial at the end of the Corran Esplanade. I had a sudden memory of the film 'Music and Lyrics', where Hugh Grant's character quotes the beginning of the song 'My Girl', written by Smokey Robinson and recorded by the Temptations in 1965 - 'I've got sunshine on a cloudy day'!

This war memorial lists those servicemen lost in both world wars and one from the Falklands War. It was unveiled in 1923.
