Hidcote Manor Gardens

We decided to go to the National Trust property at Hidcote this morning.  We managed a drink in their cafe, outside, before the heavens opened and the rain started.

We took shelter in the hot house, which is not a hot house anymore as they have removed all the large glass windows.  Still the roof was there, so that was OK.

Unfortunately the showers all merged into one, so we didn't get a chance to have a wander between, as there wasn't any between.  I made the best of a limited job and took photos from within the greenhouse.

Eventually we ran, Ann ran I walked quickly, back to the car and gave up on the trip.  Never mind it will still be there for years to come!
