Proper Spain

A tough day by the pool and then we drove down to Cartagena to see a slightly more authentic sort of Spain. It’s a lovely town, still very touristy but that’s to be expected. We had a wander about and then explored the Roman Ruins which were really impressive ( see extra ).

We then came back and went to the local kart track. Great track and fast karts and a much more relaxed attitude to safety, ‘flip flops , no problem. ‘

I think we did quite well, Alf came second, I managed 4th.

Finally we hit the local Bulgarian restaurant for dinner. The food was great and by Jove this Bulgarians must be a hungry bunch!
