Hot and steamy

A hot steamy day, although the weather app predicted rain all day. JR had a tough session at the gym after missing her sessions while on holiday. I had a wee leisurely whizz on the bike.

Elizabeth came for Archie, then I had a wander down town and JR went off to a show with one of her gym pals.

Town was sooo busy, but everyone was happy because it was sunny when it could have been pouring. Royal Mile mobbed, and yes, that man in a kilt was still balancing on his ladder. Nice to see some new folk - even if it was only Donald Trump. I wonder if those people will be pleased with their portrait, and I rather liked the private little moment of the wee girl getting her wish granted by the gold fairy...

Decided to renew the NOW tv subscription, as I’ve read about the new season of 'Succession'. Not that I’ve seen the first season. American movies are hard to follow - they mumble too much, but I've finally figured out how to get subtitles on, and so it's much better in Episode Two. Will also get 'Big Little Lies'.

A few cracks of thunder tonight. I do hope the folk at the Tattoo don’t get too wet.
