Bad hair day.

What's a girl supposed to do in weather like this? High winds and heavy rain showers today. 

I love the view from our main bedroom, it changes dramatically with the seasons. Took a quick snap today in the high winds (extra). It looks towards Coombe Hill, although not really visible in the summer months due to the amount of greenery around. I know the view isn't as spectacular as some, but compared to the many new houses built so close to each other I think we are lucky to have a view like this.

Had a browse round kitchen shops today to get some ideas on smartening and updating our kitchen - mind blowing and neither of us can cope with the choices! Either rip out our only 10 year old kitchen and start a fresh, or find someone we can trust to do some updates. Easier said than done! We've lived in this house for nearly 45 years and are fed up with re decorating and revamping it, yet love our neighbourhood.
