FlowerFriday09_2019 Agapanthus

Today brought strong winds and some rain as predicted but still the temperatures remained quite high so the day was warm and very humid.  Yesterday, assisted by Violet, I bought these beautiful agapanthus.  I do love them and wish that I could be successful in growing them in the garden. No extra of the alternative flower herself today as she will now be with her daddy until Sunday.  
This evening Mr MC and I managed to get out for dinner with friends.  It seems ages since we were able to do this and it was lovely to catch up.  We're out again tomorrow night too -  twice in one weekend, can't remember when that last happened!

In other news: there were power cuts across England and Wales this evening causing huge problems at around 5pm on a Friday evening.  Fortunately we were only affected for a brief 20 minutes and not really put out.
