Sally Mair - Loving life

We're not speaking

Cleo and Pickle ignore each other for the most part, but just occasionally they'll have a hissy stand off then both turn tail and run. Pickle is recovering from the loss of her sister last week, but there is no way she and Cleo are going to be friends.... although I keep hoping! We're going to try the new Feliway multi cat diffuser to see if that helps. Pickle will be heading off to her own new house soon, but it would be nice if they could learn to tolerate each other just a bit better.

Wednesday today, so what did I do? Led the reserved sacrament communion service this morning and walked to church and back. After I came home we took mum out to the Gyle to pick up a package for Ali at the Royal Mail depot. Then to the Gyle centre for a wee walk indoors, although admittedly the sun was shining at that point!

Kathryn started her new rotation today, 6 months at Kirkcaldy, not an easy commute logistically with 2 wee ones.

The thunder storm this afternoon was phenomenal, rain came down in sheets but the direction was different to that of a couple of weeks ago so the garage stayed dry thank goodness. Sadly although the thunder was very loud and lasted ages, I only saw a couple of lightning flashes.

I finished the evening feeling shamed into polishing some silver, it looks so much better now!
14047 steps today, 6 days out of 7 weekly target met. Hooray.
