Lace Cap Hydrangea

This morning I met a friend for coffee in the Dandelion Cafe in Newlands Park.

Everything was very wet after yesterday's rain but keeping off the grass and on the paths kept my shoes dry. I arrived before Irene so was able to have a bit of a walk round the rockery and flower beds.



Just as I got back to the car, after coffee and a chinwag, the heavens opened and since then we've had rain on and off for most of the afternoon.
