Abby .... my new friend

A much brighter day today with some longish periods of sunshine.

I had an early morning visit to the Silverburn Shopping centre for some last minute holiday shopping ..... the most important purchase being a pair of walking trainers that are reasonably waterproof.  Being a member of the National Trust entitled me to a 15% discount .... not bad! 

I popped into Pollok Park on my way home .... it was coffee time and I took the opportunity to have a bit of a walk.  I met Abby and her mum in the outside seating area of the cafe. She was having great fun poking sticks through the gaps in the wooden seats.
