seed cracking

I was told a few years ago that my old peach tree in the back yard had a disease and was on its way out. But still it stands, and even produces a few peaches each year! And yes, some branches have died off and cracked open, but they make great places for the Pygmy Nuthatches to crack their sunflower seeds.
