"do you know the muffin man?"

2nd blip of 2013!!! So far so good!

To paraphrase M&S - this is not just a chocolate muffin. This is a milk and white chocolate sauce drizzled, chocolate fudge brownie ice cream accompanied, hot, Mauds chocolate muffin!!!!

As a self confessed chocolate lover and cupcake maker, items of food, mainly those of the sugary and/or chocolatey variety are likely to feature a lot during this 365 blip adventure so you have been warned!

For those of you who are unaware of the amazing-ness that is Mauds, it is a cafe/pizza parlour with a number of them dotted across Northern Ireland and they are very popular!!! What is a trip home without some Pooh Bear ice cream from Mauds?! (that's honeycomb ice cream for everyone else) If anyone of a strong business mind had any sense they would open franchises in popular N.Ireland student attended university cities such as Dundee, Newcastle and Liverpool and they would make a fortune!! It is one of those places where it's reputation precedes it - and for good reason!

Today's trip was a much needed Mauds top-up until Easter with my lovely friend Jayney before we both returned to work across the Irish Sea this weekend!
