Queen Mary Garden
Situated in Regents Park London it was named after the wife of King George V. The garden opened to the public in 1932 and there are approximately 12,000 roses planted in it.
Yesterday Mr YB & I had an exciting day. We caught the 8.00 am train to London and traveled to Baker Street where we met up with our son. It is his birthday tomorrow so we went to have an early celebration with him. We had a lovely lunch and then headed for Regents Park where we spent several hours. It is a beautiful park with lots of things to see. The weather was perfect - warm but not too hot with a breeze at times. We then caught the 5.00 pm train home and arrived back in Newcastle just before 8.00 o'clock. Fab day and great to see our son.
I have included a few extras of the park.
