Water Lily

After a very dull, dismal morning the weather improved considerably this afternoon.

I had some holiday shopping to do so after visiting Silverburn Shopping Centre I stopped off in Pollok Park on my way home. I knew that there were a couple of water lily buds in the small pond and I hoped that the warm weather had worked its magic.

There were so many tough leaves obscuring the flowers that I had to do a bit of leaning over the wall, holding back leaves with one hand and taking the shot with the other ..... the things we blippers do to get a photo!
