A damp start to the day .....

..... not really surprising after last night's thunder and torrential rain.

I walked through the park to get the bus to church this morning and as we rumbled our way into Glasgow I realised I had forgotten my purse. My bus pass got me into town but it wouldn't buy me my Sunday morning tea and pastry.

I sat in Cafe Nero and read my book while hoping that my friend   
Helpet57 would appear ..... and she did and very kindly treated me to tea and a Danish.  The next treat is on me!
