Les Paulilles - early start

My early start was rewarded with this - an empty beach with just a vew yachts moored out in the bar.  So a quiet swim and then an amble back to the site centre by way of a visits to the two donkeys (blip 2).  They have very smart eye guards to protect them from the flies.  It just make quite a difference.

Then home, giving my parking space to a very grateful family.

this afternoon a walk around the town, catching sight of the house that belonged to the sculpture Gustave Violet, who was born in Thuir and was the sculptor responsible for the monument in Vernet - see yesterdays' blips.

Then, I can't resist it.  M. le Canigou over the rooftops of Prades.
