Home again

Woke early which was surprising after our late night yesterday (or should I say this morning!) and decided just to get going to try to beat the traffic. Managed to get packed up and offsite before 10.

Traffic was relatively light and we made good time through Inverness and stopped at House of Bruar for lunch. Quick look round the shops (resisted temptation to buy anything) and got back on the road again, making it home around 3.30.

Blip is a very hurried photo of what we always called the Germans head just near the Slochd Summit nest Carrbridge.

Unpacked some of the van - 3 loads of washing done with sheets waiting for tomorrow. The heavens opened as we were unpacking so have left the non essentials till tomorrow when we will also need to clean inside and out before taking it back to storage.

Too tired to do much more than have a bite to eat, a glass of wine and a bath and am just about to head to bed.
