Birthday Surprise

Clare had a Long Day Shift and following a late breakfast Samantha set off for St Austell by train to give a friend an art lesson.
That left Joshua and I to take our time in getting ready for a stroll down town. After his experience trying to light a charcoal BBQ on the beach he wanted a small portable gas one.
A pasty and a pint at “The Front” seemed a good option for lunch before we caught the circular bus home.
Once Sam arrived home we sorted ourselves out and headed off out. A couple of cocktails preceded a dinner at the “Meat Counter” this was Joshua’s birthday gift for his sister and came as a complete surprise, especially the cake with candles in the restaurant.
We then returned to “The Front” where I met up with a friend, Paul, whose son, Isaac, is also Joshua’s friend. We enjoyed a very pleasant couple of hours at the pub before Clare picked us up on her way home.
Great to be with both Sam and Josh for a night out.
