My first `Comma’ butterfly of the year

... though I’ve noticed other people sharing them.  It was good I managed this image as it was off as soon as I pressed the shutter and I haven’t seen it again all day.  There have also been Large and Small Whites in the garden.  My extra is a rather `chewed' small white.  I managed to take a poor photo of a pristine specimen and this better photo of the damaged one.  So the reality of life as it’s lived in the wild won out today.

Some admin for the Royal Photographic Society Digital Image Conference completed this morning and a little gardening this afternoon.  Plus beds changed and made ready for my brothers arrival this week (Tuesday morning - we think).
