A visit to RSPB Old Moor with Penistone CC

Nine of us made the camera club meeting at the Old Moor Wetlands Centre on Saturday morning.  The weather was sunny and pleasant, well maybe a bit too bright at times which made photography difficult.  This Little Egret was busy fishing and if I’d had the camera set on continuous shooting I might have actually captured the catch.

I came away with a reasonable Common Darter (dragonfly) image and a few butterflies but nothing that would stand alone.  An excellent day nevertheless and good to have an arranged meeting time so that we could all meet up, even though we went our own way at times.
