Harvest

I like making chilli, mostly because I love eating it but also because it makes me feel a bit better about Dan's diet. Under normal circumstances you wouldn't catch the little fella eating onions, red peppers, tomatoes, or kidney beans. Vegetables are not really his thing. 

Tonight's dish was enlivened by the first chilli pepper harvested from the plants that the Minx's mum bought me for my birthday (backed up by a pack of bird's eye chillis). I'm not sure it affected the flavour that much but it was satisfying to know that it was in there.
