A Busy Day Sewing Ahead

I stopped on my way home from work to collect Sushi from the bus stop as he’s travelling to Hull on a daily basis for his NCS community project preparation. I was slightly early so I took the opportunity to wander around the churchyard with my camera. Now I do love a Narnia style lamppost and I never knew there were so many here.

Sushi is thoroughly enjoying this part of NCS and his group are working with a Hull based homeless charity to raise awareness and funds for the group. They are in the process of building an art installation to be displayed in the city. It’s going to be made out of sock, 496 to represent the number of homeless in the city...he has a busy day sewing ahead of him tomorrow.
