Someone’s Stove Burning Well Next Winter

As I got to the yard this morning the heavens opened. I was able to shelter to stay dry, China however was not so lucky so by the time the rain stopped and I brought him in, he was somewhat wet and muddy! There was nothing for it but to have a cup of tea with the girls while I waited for him to dry off.

On my way back from the hairdressers this afternoon, I spotted these newly cut logs piled high at the side of the road....there’s enough to keep someone’s stove burning well next winter!
