Menorca Zoo

We took Sophie to the island's zoo this morning; we actually went there with her the first time we came here but she was so young she can't remember it and was keen to visit this time. She enjoyed seeing all the animals ( and playing in the kids' water playground, where she got absolutely soaked) but her favourites were the goats and pigs.

I was taken by this rather forlorn and all too human marmoset. I like zoos and this one gives the animals lots of room and freedom to roam but the expression on this face makes you wonder.

We spent the afternoon in the swimming pool back at the apartments where Sophie spent a happy two hours jumping in the deep end with Uncle Chris.
