Fossils
We met up with Kate, Joel & Sophie for a walk on Kilve beach on the Somerset coast this morning. It's a popular beach for fossil hunters due to the unusual rock formations but I've never seen it as busy as it was today, despite the breezy weather.
Fortunately, it's plenty big enough for social distancing. We all had fun scouring the rock pools and Sophie was delighted to be the first to spot a small crab and then these fossils embedded in the rock. In extras is one of her in full fossil hunter action and one of a larger fossil.
We brought her back home to stay with us for a couple of nights while Mummy & Daddy decorate her bedroom, so we had fun in the garden this afternoon when we got back.
Been catching up with the Cup Final which I recorded to watch after Sophie had settled down for the night so a bit of a late blip. Catch up with comments tomorrow.
