We’re home!

It was such a joy to learn that I could bring CCN home this afternoon. It has honestly been a very intense and gruelling week and it’s such a relief to know it has come to an end. We still have a journey ahead of us but at least we’re in our own home.

I was excited to walk Catherine up to the guest room so that I could show her the underlay which went down yesterday. Her first response was - “Oh I love the green it’s wonderful”. I had to let her down gently and tell her that it’s just the underlay and in fact when it’s finished the floor will be the same colour as the cement floor :)). By this time tomorrow night the room will be ready to furnish and we will then have a very smart room to retreat to at the end of the day. I think it’s going to be something of a game changer for us. Fingers crossed.
