Rock the Mote

These flags, billowing, flapping and cracking in Mote Park are flying as part of another music event in Mote Park this weekend. Two weeks ago we had the Ramblin Man, this weekend we have Rock the Mote festival featuring tribute bands playing the music of groups such as Oasis, Blur, Coldplay, Fleetwood Mac and Pink Floyd.

We were going into town so I could have my summer shear. Ended up coming home, as usual, with a rucksack full of stuff; tomato feed, couple of bags of spelt flour and three tins of chilli beans (as you do)

What was left of the afternoon was spent changing the colour of the fence that we’d painted last week. True to form we didn’t like the original colour, slate, now we have dark oak. It’s better than slate anyway.

Had a very good evening with the Marmites, sore fingers from some three hours strumming.
