Horses in the wood

I went into Prades early to avoid the crowds.  It was getting busy even by 9 o'clock.  The same thing applied in the supermarket but I was home by mid morning.  I sent off an appeal to the Scottish office as a long shot to get British representation at the Entente Cordiale festival.  Given the calls for Scottish independence, the idea of representing the UK may not appeal.  Also I did not mention that the monument is inscibed with the words Franco Anglaise rather than Franco Britannique although the accord was obviously with the United Kingdom. The afternoon was quieter. I was quite surprised when I saw these horses hiding in the wood.
