Back home again!

A l-o-n-g flight home, it seemed to go on forever and when we landed I was not sure what day of the week it was or what was the time - it was about 3pm in the afternoon and I had just had breakfast on the plane so felt quite disorientated.

Our garden is looking lovely, the flowers are all in bloom still - as can be seen by this image of our agapanthus.

I have already done 3 loads of washing, as early tomorrow morning Luke leaves to go to Scotland to join Meriel and her family on holiday, and Thomas leaves the day after to go to Croatia with about 20 friends for a post A level holiday. Adam is having a wonderful time in Panama City and sent us some photos of the canal which they have visited.

We have done the usual post holiday catch up of opening mail, unpacking and things are slowly getting sorted. The breeder contacted us to say that Miss Green slipped through her fingers this afternoon and dashed outside and went straight for their pond where she did a lap of the pond before they got her out - she swam perfectly, amazing how it is instinctive. The boys are delighted, saying Go Miss Green!
