Starting the New Year Out Right

The Ukulele Club sponsored a New Year's Day Island play-along at a local Hawaiian restaurant. Entertainment for the first hour was Dixieland jazz (the uke connection is P, on the far left, who is playing a banjo-uke). For the second hour, those of us in the audience who brought our instruments got to play and sing a variety of sweet hapa haole songs. Add to that a delicious meal and visiting with friends and you've got a very fine beginning to the new year.
