Sunset over Bang Bao

I suppose this should really be a sunrise with it being the first day of the new year, I was very much asleep at the time. The sun sets over the village (the bit to left of the middle with the palm trees in silhouette) and the first night we were here it was pretty, new years eve was cloudy and today we had a fine wispy cloud which looked promising so I took my tripod out to the beach, the sun set and again it was pretty and I thought prehaps nothing much would happen, but about 15 minutes later the whole sky changed to a red and orange and pink, which was quite amazing.
