Bang Bao village

Bang Bao village is a fishing village on stilts in the water. It's also the closest we come here to development. There's some restaurants serving fresh fish, some of it still wriggling (I'm assuming they sort that out before you eat) and a few places to stay and a whole street of shops selling tourist tat. Koh Chang means Elephant Island so many of the products are amusingly elephant related.

We buy supplies and the obligatory elephant themed products and go back to the resort to see the new year in.
