Spinning Hibiscus.
I can't remember when we had a day with such constant rain. Varying from light to heavy but constantly there and now at 8:30............... Still raining!
We were beginning to suffer from "cabin fever" so needed to get out and about. Not feeling particularly hardy we wanted somewhere in doors where we could get a bit of wandering round and of course a coffee. As the afternoon was getting on we made the quick easy decision togo to Orton Grange garden centre. Lots of covered area and in the lighter rain we could have a look outside.
Looking for blips I/we remembered the effect of multiple exposure on flowers. So I used 5 exposures slightly rotating for each aiming at this Hibiscus. The flower must have been at least 10 cm (4 ") across.
For my own records I got a beautiful Phalaenopsis, small flowered and lovely shades of browny orange. The spike has 18 open flowers and 7 unopened buds. Why they chose to reduce it to nearly 1/3 its original price I have no idea.
