Changing face of city

Southampton’s famous Bargate monument appears as a lonely icon while redevelopment changes the shape of its eastern flank.
Shops and a complete shopping mall have disappeared through demolition and the historic Bargate itself stands proud as a landmark.
I can’t wait to see what the developers have in store for this pivotal part of the city.
