Let the lotus bloom

Thank goodness the heat of yesterday is over. Today it's been a comfortable 24C and we got an unexpected invitation to a birthday party. 

Its rare in this part of the world that you can safely throw a party in the garden. The risk of rain/cold or wind is ever present. Hence our friends decision to do it on the spur of the moment.

We heard  the recent flash flood did millions of pounds of damage to Stirling University. We got little rain yet we live only two miles away.

Our lotus flowers are all coming into bloom now.
