Went shopping early today to avoid the worst of the heat - these blue beauties had taken their tops off in the market in Place St. Josse - who could blame them?

In the afternoon I hid in my cave while the temperature soared to a record 39°c. The Belgian rail system was paralysed - let's face it, I wouldn't fancy taking the €urostar if the rails were buckled!
