Sizzling Hot!

It's very rare that you can say in Yorkshire that it's been tropical and absolutely hot, hot, hot...but today you can officially declare it! The highest temperature seen was 35 degrees and even in Queensbury the thermometer read 31 degrees...what even is that?! 

All the same, a lovely, lovely walk around Goit Stock, the dabbled shade made it the perfect location on such a scorcher of a day. Two boys were jumping from above the waterfall into the pool below, incredibly brave given the rocks etc!! Not for me!! 

There's also been time to sit in the garden and lap up some of the rays. The Tour de France hits the Alps today, bring on the highlights!
